Bethesda College of Education was established in the year 2007 by the Bethesda Charitable and Educational Trust, as a non-profitable minority institution. It is located at Bethelpuram in Colachel revenue village providing quality education to the students of rural and backward vicinity serving true to its name Bethesda which means ‘House of Mercy’. The ambience of the location is best suited for academic pursuits. The Trust was co-founded by Mr. G. Irenesh Kumar who has hands-on experience in the field of education for the last 30 years. The trust was started to impart quality education to the rural and poor people so as to enlighten and uplift the educational standards of all the economic classes by adapting to the digital era.
